A couple of weeks ago, my brothers, my husband and I had the pleasure of hosting friends and family for an incredibly fun celebration - of 35 years of marriage! My mom and stepdad (Susan and Bernie) celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in mid-June. In our world of things that change faster than we can sometimes think, 35 years of a being family together is no small feat!
Our party was at the Collingwood Arts Center in Toledo. The CAC is an amazing place for the arts in Toledo, and I have a dear friend who is working her butt off to save the place and help return it to some of its glory. It's also a wonderful place for an event like ours - consider renting there if you've got any eventing to do in that area!
Thank you, thank you, thank you - to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Congratulations, Mom and Bernie! We love you and had great fun celebrating you both!
A parting note: I forgot to take any pictures myself of the lovely day! Thanks to friend Honnie who captured these and shared them with me. It was a beautiful party, and the purple fabrics shared here a few weeks ago became lots of purple accents for the tables. It was lovely - I promise! And a large set of randomly sized purple table accents are available if anyone needs to borrow them in the future!
